How does it work?

Join Trinity friends in a summer reading challenge!

How does it work? Choose books from our "Reading Challenge Book List." The suggested age ranges are guides, not fixed rules, so parents may help children decide on the age range that is most appropriate for them and their reading levels. Independent reading, audio books, and read-alouds all count!

For every book you read, you get a prize on Sunday morning. Prizes range from candy to koozies, stickers to tote bags, mugs to temporary tattoos. Read more books, earn more prizes. If you read one of the books marked like this **, earn two prizes. Participate in the summer small group? Pick as many as you want.

Prizes will be available at church each week, so you can get them as you earn them.

Note: The selected books are not all Christian books and do not necessarily reflect the views of Trinity Church Burke or the planners of the Trinity Summer Reading Challenge. We have done our best to select books that are good, beautiful, and true and books that will encourage a love of reading and good conversations and thinking within our families and congregation. Where we've not read the books ourselves, we've relied heavily on recommendations from sources we trust. However, as always, use your own judgement in choosing books for you and your family to read.
